I am a native of Virginia and grew up in the VA Beach area. I moved to the DC Metro area in 2000 and have owned properties in DC & VA. As a native I attended Old Dominion University where I obtained my BS in Mathematics. I love the outdoor and fitness so I am an active participant in various marathons and triathalons. When I am not working I can be found watching the Nationals, Redskins and Capitals. I am also a proud father of a son currently attending college.

In 1976 I received my bachelors degree in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. At that point I worked during my university years in the Texas A&M Food Service Department. I was introduced to setting up tables, linens, china and decor for banquets. My love for decorating began at that point. I became a wife, a mom and later opened my own business in dinnerware rentals for Weddings and parties. I enjoyed that as well.
