| After many years of providing design and organizational services to friends and family, I decided to leave the accounting field and pursue a career as a home stager. I was trained and became an Accredited Staging Professional in 2006. I worked as an Office Manager for a real estate company for 5 years to learn all about the industry before leaving to pursue home staging on a full time basis. My company, Holm Solutions Staging and Décor serves the St. Paul, Minneapolis and surrounding areas. Our job as professional stagers is to provide homeowners and realtors with a competitive advantage by applying proven staging techniques to eliminate buyer objections and create an atmosphere that appeals to the greatest number of buyers possible. Homes in all styles, price ranges and neighborhoods can benefits from staging. |
| Vacant Staging Services: |
| Vacant homes do not show well. Most buyers only know what they see not how it can be. Contrary to popular belief, a lack of furniture can make a room look smaller, and makes minor imperfections, like a nick in the wood flooring, really stand out. Holm Solution provides furniture and accessories to highlight the features of the house and make the space feel warm and inviting. |
| Occupied Staging Services: |
Holm Solutions provides both "staged to sell" and "staged to live" services.
When staging to sell, we look at maintenance issues, updating, de-personalization, de-cluttering and furniture and accessory placement to ensure your home sells faster and for more money.
When staging to live, we offer recommendations and/or shopping services in all areas of design--paint colors, flooring, window treatments, cabinetry, furniture and accessories to help make your house your home.
We do as much or as little as you like, from consultations to full-service. |
| Move Management/Transitional Support: |
| Moving is rated as one of life's five most stressful activities. If the move is necessary due to illness, injury, death of divorce; it can become overwhelming. Holm Solutions provides support to people making a transition by providing an impartial 3rd party to plan, prepare and execute the move while treating the clients with the dignity and respect they deserve. Again, we do as much or as little as you want or need. |
The dark paint makes it difficult to see the features of the room and is very taste specific.
Painting is one of the most economical ways to update a house. By re-painting in a lighter more neutral color, the features stand out, the room feel larger and buyers can imagine most any type or color of furniture in the space.
