Customized Staging Summary - This is a summation of what needs to be done in a home to ready it for the market. It is a thorough and detailed dossier prepared for each client explaining exactly what to do in every room. Photos of rooms are included with notes describing areas that need special attention or improvement. The report can be a great tool for realtors to show their clients without hurting feelings or appearing to judge personal taste. This is a one time cost for this service and it can be done quickly and with little inconvenience to the owner.
Staging for Resale - This is the most powerful thing a homeowner can do when putting a home on the market. Setting The Space would come in and rearrange, de-clutter, and improve the areas of a home to maximize the look to appeal to buyers. Having the fresh perspective of the Setting The Space team will help improve problem areas that the homeowner may have grown used to or became accustomed to. Setting The Space in effect becomes the first critical potential buyer. The problems will be alleviated so that when the first real buyer walks through the door they want to buy and out bid all other buyers because they just have to have your house!
Staging Vacant Homes - 92% of potential buyers can not envisualize themselves living in a home when it is shown to them as vacant. They will quickly leave and not buy! Staging for Builders - Setting The Space collaborates with home builders to advance the process of selling an existing home to build a new home. Setting The Space allows the builder to offer a "credit" toward a Customized Staging Summary. This helps the buyer to more quickly (and for more money!) sell their existing home so that the funds can be used toward the new home being built. Because staging helps a house to sell more quickly, there is less chance for buyer's remorse with the new house being built. Blair Hamaty is the Chairman and Executive Managing Officer of Setting The Space. Having started Setting The Space in 2006 as a small scale home staging company Blair has overseen the direction and growth of the company from day one. His background in retail furniture and home decor necessitated a flair for merchandising and the ability to redesign vignettes to always have a fresh appeal to customers naturally made him an adept home stager. Blair's experience in textiles and custom furniture design allowed him to use his talents in guiding people toward their personal style. Because of this Blair achieved a niche of providing high end staging and became quite sought after for his service. Blair’s natural marketing ability and business sense allowed him to build up a strong customer base as well as an extensive furniture inventory strongly contributing to Setting The Space becoming the area’s premier home staging company. Over time Blair has overseen the company’s continued growth and expansion of its services. Along with staging, Setting the Space also offers furniture rental and a wide variety of interior design services as well as a full design showroom called Setting The Space Interiors. As the company grows, the same basic motto and commitment exist as when the company was formed. Blair continues to pride himself on unflinching customer service and works tirelessly with each client toward their goals. Blair is a member of the Association of Staging Professionals, through StagedHomes.com, as well as the International Association of Home Staging Professionals. He is also President of the local chapter of home stagers called B.I.R.C.( Boston International Regional Chapter). He also proudly oversees a yearly charity event to benefit a needy cause through staging/decorating.
