The ASA® Course Curriculum:

Day 1: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Learn How to Educate Your Clients and the Real Estate Agents You Work with and Meet

Day 1 is in a classroom environment where you will learn the details of the proven program of successful working practices. You will learn why and how to set Professional Policies of how to work with your clients. You will learn the 3 proven Steps of service Realtors® provide and how Staging fits into the process. You will also view before and after photos of occupied houses and discuss curb appeal strategies for sellers.

Communication is crucial to your Staging success! Staging Talent is one thing, but learning how to get sellers and Real Estate agents to do what you share with them is another. As an ASA® you may have times where you are sharing with clients about Staging, and need to understand the WHY for Realtors and Sellers. You may be part of their process – helping them prepare their house for sale with occupied hands-on Staging, and understanding how to be sensitive to potential issues, how to share messages that may be hard for the client to hear, with compassion and kindness is the key.

You can be the greatest Stager in the world, but if you are not able to educate your clients on the benefits of Staging then they probably will not Stage® their home. Therefore, the Course is very detailed on day one of how to communicate with your clients and RE Agents so that they say ‘yes’. On day one you will learn what to say and how to say it so that the clients see you as an advocate for their sale, and you improve your own self-talk for best positive outcome. You will learn the service code and creed and the steps of serving clients the which is the proven system that works! Day One is the foundation for the also crucial day to follow and it is the foundation of being an ASA®.

Day 2: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Staging Day! Learn philosophies and process of Staging properties as we look at and analyze over 100 slides of photos and discuss each one in detail.

In the morning of Day 2 of your ASA® Course, you will learn all the tools you have available through the Staging University® to help you be the best assistant you can be. By reviewing many before and after sets of various types of properties, you will have detailed classroom training on how to Stage® a house in the different rooms that most homes have. There are many before and after pictures/slides to see as examples of what can be done working with just what the seller has in the lived in home. Vacant Home Staging will be discussed in detail with various categories of Vacant properties from modest to multi-million dollar properties. You will see not only before and after examples, you will learn Staging Ideas, materials to use, key Staging Concepts, and creative problem solving of how to make Staging magic out of almost anything! You will learn the Steps of Staging and Consultations and home staging sayings.

After your class time is completed you will receive access to an online WEBINAR just for Staging Assistants to provide you an added 90 minutes of education.
